Description
Instructions:
Place the sharpener on a flat surface and hold the sharpener with one hand and the knife handle with the other
Step 1: Diamond coated bars (Preparation sharpening)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Use before sharpening if the knife edge is damaged to balance the blade
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Slide the blade along the diamond bars as shown in the drawing, pressing down lightly on the edge of the blade
Step 2: Sheets of Tungsten Carbide (Coarse sharpening)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Only to be used if the blade is very blunt
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Slide the blade along the metal sheets as shown in the drawing, pressing down lightly on the edge of the blade. Repeat until the blade is restored to the desired sharpness
Step 3: Ceramic bars (Fine sharpening)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Slide the blade without exerting pressure in order to remove rough edges left in step 2. Repeat the operation until a smooth edge is obtained
-Â Â Â Â Â Â For maintaining a sharp blade you can just perform this operation without first doing step 2. Recommended once a week
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Wash the blade after sharpening
Warnings:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Not suitable for knives or scissors with serrated edges
-Â Â Â Â Â Â In order not to damage the knife, grind lightly and without using back and forward movements
